YOUTUBE IS TRASH !

Hey everyone, it’s Bl8nly here, and I’ve got something to get off my chest about this platform we’re all grinding on: YouTube is straight-up trash sometimes. Let me break it down for you.

So, I’ve been putting in WORK on this channel. I make my own beats, do all my own edits, and create content I’m proud of—from reactions and gaming to beat-making sessions and exploring real-life topics. You know I’m all about bringing unique, authentic content to the table. But YouTube? They hit me with a curveball I wasn’t expecting: they won’t monetize my channel because they claim I have “reused content.”

Reused content?? Like, what even is that supposed to mean? I’m not out here stealing anyone’s work. Every beat you hear on my channel? That’s me, 100%. The edits you see in my videos? Done by yours truly. Reactions? Gaming streams? All original, all Bl8nly. So naturally, I reached out to YouTube for some clarification. I mean, if I’m doing something wrong, at least let me know what it is so I can fix it, right? Makes sense, doesn’t it?

But no. Their response was wild. They flat-out said they won’t tell me what specific content they’re referring to. How am I supposed to fix something when they won’t even tell me what’s broken? It’s like getting a test back with an F and no explanation why. Like, make it make sense, YouTube! I feel like I’m playing a game where the rules keep changing, and nobody bothers to clue me in.

What’s even more frustrating is how many other creators go through the same thing. I see people reposting entire shows, full music tracks, or other people's content with zero effort to make it unique—and somehow, they’re thriving on this platform. Meanwhile, creators like me, who are actually putting in the time and energy to build something original, get hit with these vague strikes and demonetization notices. It’s beyond frustrating.

I’m not here to just complain. I’m here to stand up for every small creator who feels overlooked, ignored, or punished for no good reason. YouTube needs to be better. They need to communicate with their creators. We’re the ones keeping this platform alive, and it’s wild how little respect they show us. I’m not asking for handouts; I just want transparency and fairness. Is that too much to ask?
