Border Patrol agents uncovered a network of underground tunnels in El Paso, Texas, stretching all the way to a northern Mexican city.

Described by officials as a "historic" discovery, the tunnel is believed to have been used for trafficking Venezuelan women for s*x.

Authorities suspect the tunnel was built within the past year, though no arrests have been made so far.

The investigation is now under the jurisdiction of the Department of Homeland Security.
