Deadline extended at homeless camp

The homeless encampment ordered off a private lot in Over-The-Rhine has gotten an extension until Monday, residents told WCPO Thursday morning. Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters had ordered the 15 or so people camping in tents there to vacate by noon Thursday or face arrest. People experiencing homelessness have been camping out in a pocket park at 13th and Republic Streets since Friday, after a judge banned homeless camps from all public property in Hamilton County.
