Seeing God Gave Me A Second Chance to live on his creation Planet Earth, I am doing it right. I had passed out at another rehab after leaving Aspire at Brooksville, the nastiest pay toilet was ever in. Once I took the lid off my lunch a roach came running down my table and disappeared into my bed. Aspire had to be where I caught this UTI. I woke up in a nearby hospital ER. I was told by someone there that my heart stopped briefly while I was en route but was restarted with a shock. My blood pressure was critically low. So, I was approached by a young girl who handed me some cash. I was so shocked by her act of kindness, the true meaning of Christmas. Her Dad was in the ER. She then said, I understand you are going a rough time. My Dad and I wanted to give you this. I thanked them repeatedly saying you have no idea how much I needed this $200. I had depleted my savings lying in a bed at Aspire at Brooksville. My orthopedic doctor had confirmed there was nothing broken and ordered Rehab. But Aspire kept making excuses for the rehab my doctor ordered. Finally after lying there confined to a wheelchair. It was time to escape that rehab from hell. It was after I arrived at the new facility that I passed out. From the ER I was transported to my new rehab. The rehab team had me nearly walking on my own when this UTI hit me. I was shivering and had a bad cough. The nurse on duty that night said I should go to the hospital, and I agreed. From what my medical team said today, the antibiotic I am on (which is working) is quite costly, and my Insurance does not cover it as an outpatient. So I will have to stay in the hospital until the treatment is completed. I am okay with that because the staff here is treating me so well. There is a complaint being filed with the State of Florida. My insurance would not tell me if they paid Aspire specifically for the rehab I never received. The agent asked for my permission to file the aforementioned complaint. Yes its a fact that God loves me and has given me a second chance to live. I am doing everything right from now on!
