ACLU takes aim at mayor's courts, alleging they care more about profit than promoting public safety

After compiling data from hundreds of thousands of traffic citations across the state, representatives of the ACLU of Ohio said on Thursday that mayor’s courts are generally more inclined to be in the business of making money instead of promoting public safety.
