The 119th Congressional Love-Fest ❤️ Short Version - January 3, 2025

(4:37 minutes music video) C-SPAN had special permission to use their own cameras inside the Capital building during the first day of the 119th Congress to get rare candid shots of behind-the-scenes footage of these congress-critters in their natural habitat. from the opening gavel, the pledge of allegiance, the House prayer, the vote for Speaker, the swearing in of members, the Rules debate and a vote on the new rules (One being, Joe and Hunter Biden are NOT above the law!) Many members of Congress were accompanied by family members and lovers. One Democrat protested. A lot of hugs and kisses. It was almost like the first day of school after a long summer vacation. It looked like a lot of backroom deals were made and secrets exchanged. Strategizing and a couple arguments prevailed. But to outsiders, it looked mostly like a Love-Fest. Of course, most of these details would only be noticed in the long version, not in this short music video.
