This is the horrific moment a crowd of people celebrating a national holiday were swept to their death over the edge of a waterfall. A senior official said the death toll was yet to be determined, but it is thought at least 12 perished in the tragedy. Hundreds of people had flocked to Sultan Garh waterfalls on the Agra-Mumbai highway in India to celebrate Indian Independence Day. Many of them were swimming in the river Parvathi when the water level started rising around 4.30pm due to heavy rains upstream.
