### **Instructions**
#### **1. Cook the Noodles**
1. Boil the noodles according to package instructions until just tender (al dente). Drain and rinse with cold water.
2. Toss the noodles with 1 tbsp sesame oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
---
#### **2. Marinate the Chicken**
1. In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch.
2. Let it marinate for at least 10–15 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.
---
#### **3. Prepare the Sauce**
1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and chicken broth or water.
2. Stir well and set aside.
---
#### **4. Stir-fry the Ingredients**
1. Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same wok, add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry the garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Add the onions, carrots, bell peppers, and cabbage. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
---
#### **5. Combine Everything**
1. Add the cooked noodles to the wok, tossing them with the vegetables.
2. Return the chicken to the wok.
3. Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and toss everything together to coat evenly. Stir-fry for 1–2 minutes.
4. Add the green onions and toss briefly.
---
### **6. Serve**
Transfer the Chicken Chow Mein to a serving plate. Serve hot and enjoy with a sprinkle of sesame seeds or chili flakes for extra flavor!
---
### **Tips for Success**
- **High heat**: Use high heat for authentic stir-fry flavor and to prevent sogginess.
- **Prep everything beforehand**: Stir-frying moves quickly, so have all ingredients ready.
- **Customize**: Feel free to add mushrooms, snap peas, or other favorite veggies.
Enjoy your homemade Chicken Chow Mein that’s full of flavor and better than takeout! 🍜🎉
