Toxic algae and red tide issues seen by state and federal officals

Officials from the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Interior, Army Corps of Engineers, and South Florida Water Management District visited Southwest Florida to asses damage from toxic algae and red tide. The state and federal officials held a press conference on Fort Myers Beach after their tour of the area.
