Computer aided design (CAD) 3D model of Boeing 787 Dreamliner inside virtual wind tunnel during simulation & study of airflow around the aircraft using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a branch of fluid mechanics that uses numerical analysis and data structures to analyze and solve problems involving fluid flows. It is a multi-physics solution that involves the interaction of multiple phenomena including fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and conservation of momentum.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is an American wide-body airliner developed and manufactured by Boeing. It is a twin-engine jet aircraft with a primarily composite airframe, targeting 20% less fuel consumption than aircraft like the Boeing 767. The 787 carries 200 to 300 passengers on routes up to 8,500 nautical miles (15,700 km or 9,800 miles).
