AGENT X11: EP 95: SKIP PRESS: UNTIMELY DEATHS OF THE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY

In this episode we begin to analyze Charlie Manson of the Manson family. We explore his connection to the church of Scientology. Charlie spent many years in and out of prison.

As a child Manson was sent to the Indiana Boys school where he was allegedly raped by other students and staff members and repeatedly beaten. He ran away from school but upon apprehension he would develop a self defense technique in which he would screech, grimace and wave his arms to convince his aggressors he was insaine.

In one of his first imprisonments a psychiatrist recommended his transfer to a minimum security facility where he was caught raping a boy at knife point. He had further infractions involving homosexual acts.

In one of Manson's prison stays, in 1961, he was first exposed to scientology. He was given the equivalent of 150 years of auditing, and was put in solitary confinement. He said the religion was "too crazy."
