Police Respond to Patrick Tomlinson's Lawsuit

Back in February 2024, Patrick Tomlinson (professional LolCow) filed a lawsuit against the Milwaukee Police Department for responding to over 45 calls for service that were part of a swatting attack on Tomlinson's home.

In particular, seven times involved Tomlinson and/or his wife being physically detained, at gunpoint while police searched their homes without a warrant. Because of these seven interactions, Tomlinson has filed a Federal Civil Rights Lawsuit with violations of 18 U.S.C. 1983.

Since then, the City filed a Motion to Dismiss, and the Court has ordered the City to respond to his complaint.
