News that Smith and Wesson launched a lever action in 2024 was shocking, but when the initial production run (limited collector edition aside) was more tactical then traditional, we were even more surprised. Now, the company has shifted back to old-school gear, offering not only the 1854 Walnut, but a new chambering in .45 Colt.
