Pie of DEATH

A video recorded in 1997 when I was a student at Leeds College of Technology (formerly Kitson College). Being a big martial arts aficionado, I'd wanted to film a fight scene, so we went across the road and filmed it on the roof of Morrison's multi-storey car park directly across the road. We sort of made it up on the spot (I know right?). The effort and enthusiasm waned the longer we were up there, as it was December and we were all absolutely freezing. In the end we just abandoned the whole thing and just went home and it was pretty much forgotten about.

I've had these S-VHS tapes for the past 27 years and finally got round to doing something with them. I called it 'PIE OF DEATH' as a nod to its Northern roots. The first 2 musical tracks were made with AI (Udio music generator). The last track is 'Super 16' by Neu! It features in the opening scene of 'The One Armed Boxer 2: Master of the Flying Guillotine,' and I've always found it terrifying. The dialogue is pinched from AWOL (Van Damme), Rumble in the Bronx (Jackie Chan), Anchorman and some obscure Chinese stuff I ripped from YouTube.
