UBISOFT Delays ASSASSIN’S CREED Again | Dev’s Future Hangs on its Success

Ubisoft made the announcement they will again be delaying the release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows by another month.

The developer behind the long-standing franchise has said they need the extra time in order to provide players with the best experience possible upon launch. This looks like a reaction to the failure that was Star Wars Outlaws since that game had a terrible launch that many blamed on technical issues. While latter patches did improve things it wasn’t enough to save it. However, it’s unlikely a polished Assassin’s Creed Shadows still won’t help because much of the criticism surrounding the game has to deal with Ubisoft’s insistence on DEI practices.
