Two accused in the murder of five-year-old Ameer Abrahams appear in court

Two murder-accused, Brandon Jansen and Iekraam Achilles, appeared briefly in the Athlone Magistrates Court on Friday morning. The two are accused of the killing of five-year-old Ameer Abrahams in Irvine Street, Manenberg on Monday. Ameer was walking to the tuck shop with his father and baby sister when he was struck in the back of his head with a stray bullet in a gang-related shooting between gang rival groups.
