Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

For most of us, most of the day will be hot, humid and quiet. Highs will top out around 90, though if you live right next to Lake Michigan, it may cool off a bit. If you live well off to the NW, there will be a chance of an isolated afternoon T'storm. A weak cool front is going to slowly push through the area tonight. The farther you live to the north, the better your chance of a shower or T'storm tonight, but once the sun sets, most of this activity will gradually diminish. Lows will be in the mid-60s/ Unfortunately, it looks like that front isn't going to make much southward progress for Wednesday, so it's going to stall out near the area. This means we could touch off some scattered showers and T'storms as the day wears on. Temperatures won't be quite as warm with highs around 80, though we'll still hold onto the humidity. Thursday is our next preseason Packers game and it still looks a little muggy with a slight chance of a shower or possible T'storm in the afternoon. The forecast is a little uncertain, so we'll keep you updated.
