🇨🇳 Earthquake in Tibet: Over 126 Lives Lost and Catastrophic Destruction

⚠️ Aerial footage from Shigatse, Tibet (China), reveals the scale of devastation caused by a powerful earthquake. Hundreds of homes have been destroyed, streets are covered with debris, and residents are struggling to cope with the aftermath of the disaster.

🆘 More than 14,000 rescuers have arrived in the affected region to search for survivors trapped under the rubble. So far, the earthquake has claimed the lives of at least 126 people, while over 400 individuals have been rescued. The rescue efforts are hindered by harsh winter conditions, with nighttime temperatures dropping to -16°C (3°F).

‼️ The disaster struck on Tuesday, about 80 kilometers (50 miles) from the base of Mount Everest. Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing personally visited the disaster zone to oversee the rescue operation. This earthquake has become one of the deadliest in China in recent years.
