North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un has expanded the list of bans for people in the country. The latest addition is the popular American dish hot dog. North Korea has banned its people from eating hot dogs. Serving and consuming hot dogs in North Korea is now an act of treason. Those caught could be sent to the infamous labour camps in the country. The ban on hot dogs comes as part of Kim Jong Un's crackdown on Western culture in North Korea. Earlier, the North Korean leader also banned Tteokbokki, a South Korean dish made of rice cake. Even Budai-jjigae, which fuses ramen with American cheese and kimchi, isn't allowed in North Korea anymore. Not just food, but even fashion is controlled by the state in North Korea.
