Ayurveda is from beginning to infinity. We can call it eternal. Its principles are not time bound. Its principle says that our universe is made of 5 elements. Thousands of years ago it was made of these 5 elements, today it is made of these elements, and will stay the same tomorrow as well. Earth, water, air, fire, space. Our body is also made of these 5 elements. Our food is also made of 5 elements and our medicine is also made of these elements. The energies that are governing this universe - Vata, Pitta, Kapha represent these 5 elements. Just like all the solid material of the universe, and solidity of our body, those are earth elements Rock. The water element is liquid in the universe or in our body. The metabolic fire or the fire, sun or stars in the universe are fire elements. So these are universal principles which are timeless and are not time bound. Ayurveda always remains the same and eternal. From where the disease comes in between? Diseases are very small parts of this big science of Ayurveda. Of this huge science Ayurveda diseases are a very small part of it. We call it imbalance. In this we do not want to know about the names of the diseases.

We do not run behind the names of the diseases. We look out for the imbalance of Vata, Pitta, Kapha. Any disease arises in this era, what will happen? Dis-ease Imbalance of the 5 elements. When there is an imbalance of these 5 elements, it causes diseases. We can balance them, it will make you healthy. So “Vikaronaam aakushla na jeeryet kadachin” is written in Ayurveda “naahi sarveroganaam naamasstu durvasthiti.” It is not required to keep names of the diseases, as per ayurveda and neither is it possible. Because diseases will keep on coming as per the time changes. Even a thousand years from now, new diseases will emerge. 500 years later, different ones will emerge. Will we continue to name those diseases? Ayurveda says to identify Vata, Pitta, Kapha. Check it, how to do it. Analyse it. Find out which disease can be caused due to imbalance of Vata - these are the possibilities, these can be caused by Pitta and the disease can be by the combination of both.

With which you can prescribe the diet and medicines of the person. Because all the herbs, the medicinal plants that we will prescribe to the patient. They are also 5 element based, whether it is allopathy medicine. If we take allopathic medicine and it causes acidity it means pitta increases, fire increases. What that medicine has? Agni (Fire element). What does green chili have? Agni. What does Chandan have? It is cool in nature. This is the common language of our culture so it is eternal. Principles of Ayurveda will remain forever. So it has nothing to do with all these things that if some new diseases come 5000 years ago or 5000 years later, then they cannot be cured by Ayurveda. We are treating patients day and night through Ayurveda. All the disease caused due to these 5 elements. It is possible to cure the problems. Means your diagnosis is based on these things. Absolutely. We do not see the names of the diseases. It is not written in Ayurveda to focus on the diseases. To focus on Vata, Pitta, Kapha is written in Ayurveda. And how can we identify it? Through different methods of Diagnosis in Ayurveda, through the pulse, through the examination of tongue. We look at the patient's tongue, pulse. We examine his stool, urine, pulse and eyes, and listen to his voice.
