World's First 'City of the Future' With AI-Powered Smart Homes and Flying Cars Welcomes First Residents

"Woven City," developed by automaker Toyota, (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-14257723/Worlds-city-future-toyota-japan.html) is located at the foot of Mount Fuji in Japan and includes at least 11 "smart" homes powered by hydrogen, artificial intelligence and other technologies.

CEO Akio Toyoda said the $10 billion utopia would be a "laboratory" for innovators to develop tomorrow's technologies.

In the fall, the city is ready to welcome its first 100 residents, who will become its employees. They will live there for free, although they will already have to be Toyota employees and work on developing experimental technologies for the company.

The program will then be expanded to another 2,200 people, including innovators and their families, parents and pets. read more https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-14257723/Worlds-city-future-toyota-japan.html
