Sheriffs Department allows new headwear

In a show of support for their historic season, the Oakland County Sheriff’s
Department has authorized its Deputies to wear official Detroit Lions hats in place of their uniform caps for the rest of the season. Sheriff Mike Bouchard says it’s to promote camaraderie and community spirit while maintaining the
