Ingraham had been referring to the rise in immigration without assimilation seen across America over the past few decades. As noted three years ago by then-Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, whose own family immigrated to the United States from India, "[I]mmigration without assimilation is not immigration; it's an invasion."
