Four Arrested in Connection with Deadly New Year’s Eve Shooting in Holmes County

HOLMES CO., Miss. - Four suspects have been taken into custody in connection with a deadly New Year’s Eve shooting that occurred at a Holmes County gas station. Amari Ward, 19, Amante Ward, 20, and Jamal Sly, 23, were arrested on Monday, each facing two counts of murder with a bond of $500,000 per count. Sendarius Craft, 21, was apprehended on Tuesday, with bond yet to be set. The shooting took place at a Shell gas station on Highway 17, claiming the lives of Brian Grisby Jr., 21, and De’Marion Sly, 19, while Antine Fisher, 22, was grazed by a bullet.
