Slavery is not as blatant as it once was. Some people still live under the illusion that they are 'free', and do not live their lives as indentured servants to anyone else simply due to the lack of physical shackles. But, just because we are not in physical chains: it does not mean that we are not forced, for the majority of our lives, to work to increase the bottom line of people in positions of power who essentially own us. The ownership may be less blatant than it was in the past, but in this video I will argue as to why the slavery of the modern day is just that -- and we live with only an illusion of freedom.
