My scribbled research shows how integrative & functional medicine is finally giving women's testosterone the attention it deserves! Because guess what? When our T is low, we might experience:
• That "meh" feeling about intimacy 😴
• Stubborn weight that won't budge 😤
• Energy levels in the basement 🔋
• Mood swings that make us question everything 🎭
• Muscle strength? What muscle strength? 💪
The hormone cascade is real, hun! When our adrenals are stressed, progesterone drops, and that can lead to low T. It's all connected!
The good news? There are options! From strength training 🏋️♀️ to proper hormone testing to comprehensive adrenal support - we've got tools in our toolkit.

Reference Ranges & Symptoms:
• Symptoms: fatigue, hair loss, libido, depression
• Conservative approach to optimal women's T levels: between 30-50 on labs
Hormonal Cascade:
• Adrenal fatigue → Low progesterone
• Low progesterone → Low testosterone
• Low T → Reduced libido & exercise capacity
Treatment Considerations:
• Strength training important for hormone balance
• "All in" adrenal support needed
• Check if estrogen is high
Key Monitoring:
• Regular lab work needed to assess levels during T therapy
• Consider a progressive approach to dosing (dosing amounts not mentioned)
