Keller Fornes, Star of Great American Family’s County Rescue, Dies at 32 _ Instagram video

Keller Scott Fornes, actor and star of Great American Family’s County Rescue, passed away at the age of 32 on Dec. 19, 2024, in Eastland, Texas. A memorial service is set for Jan. 11 at Cowboy Church of Erath County in Stephenville, Texas, as noted in his obituary by Lacy Funeral Home.

Great American Media expressed their condolences in a statement posted on social media: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Keller Fornes. His energy and enthusiasm lifted all he worked with. Our prayers are with his family and all those he touched.”

Fornes played Griffin in County Rescue, which was preparing to begin production for its second season. Fellow cast members, including Julia Reilly and Kristin Wollett, mourned his loss on social media, sharing heartfelt tributes and photos from their time on set.

In addition to his work on County Rescue, Fornes appeared in TV shows like The Walking Dead and Genius and films such as The Secrets She Keeps. A graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in fine arts, he was also a writer, producer, musician, and artist who enjoyed painting, drawing, and boxing.

Fornes is survived by his wife, Margie, his parents, and two brothers.
