We are joined by former guest and the man behind ‘Aussie Fight Back Club’ and ‘National May Day’, Jody Lowe. Jody introduces us to Mariya, so she can share her journey from the COVID Pandemic until now.

Prior to the outbreak of COVID in 2020, Mariya was an everyday, law-abiding citizen who had a successful career in HR.

On a trip back home from the Northern Territory, Mariya and her Mother were denied entry across the South Australian border. Unwilling to back down, Mariya and her Mother were finally ‘allowed’ to return to South Australia on ‘compassionate grounds’.

This led to Mariya and her Mother spending almost two weeks in home quarantine, despite neither showing any signs of COVID or any illness. Finally, on day 11 of quarantine, Mariya left her home and was subsequently arrested and found herself in solitary confinement in a maximum-security prison.
