Libertarianism: Yay or Nay? - With Paul Barker & Kevin Loughrey – X-Candidates 108

We are joined by the Federal President of the Libertarian Party of Australia, Paul Barker and Lieutenant-Colonel and regular contributor, Kevin Loughrey.

Both men join us to debate Libertarianism in Australia – whether it can appeal to the mass electorate and whether its messaging is suitable.

Importantly, we discuss the limits of a free society, in which Libertarianism promotes, and whether there is any need for Government intervention. This includes debate specifically on property rights and abortion, but also immigration, foreign investment, privatising public services and more.

This is certainly not an attack on Libertarianism, but a deep-dive into the ideology and strategy behind the party and whether that can translate to the regular voter.
