In a statement on her website, one of the candidates running to represent District 78 in the state legislature is weighing in. Dr. Parisima Taeb says “we need to improve the water quality of southwest Florida. Our legislature needs to make sure that the federal will prioritize the water infrastructure in its budget plan. It is crucial for our tourism. And it also impacts our economy.” District 78 stretches from Fort Myers to Lehigh Acres.
