Footage shows dozy crook attempts to sell bike back to family he stole it from

This is the moment a dozy thief was caught red-handed trying to sell a stolen bike for £100 - back to the family he stole it from.

The footage was filmed by single-mum Jemma Shaw, 29, who lured the thief in to her home after offering to buy the bike less than 24 hours after it was taken.

Jemma's 12-year-old son Alfie Whitby had his beloved BMX stolen from a park close to their home in Cleethorpes, North East Lincs., on Sunday (August 5).
