Wednesday Evening Bible Study Jeremiah 46-49 1-8-2025

Our passage tonight from Jeremiah 46-49 deals with judgment upon other nations besides Judah and talks some about the restoration of Israel. Judgment will come upon Egypt, Philistia, Moab, Ammon, and Edom.
The disobedient remnant who should have stayed in Judah instead fled to Egypt thinking they would escape vengeance from Babylon ended up going where God was going to bring judgment anyway.
It's another example of how people who do not live according to God's instruction and principles will not prosper.
We again find similarities with this passage and our world today.
