Brazil: Frontline Missions Mama Rosa asks salvation and healing for an injured man. Nothing can stop Mama Rosa! Feeding the refugees, showing the Jesus Film, holding Christian services and battling the gang leaders, she never lets up!
Jesus blessed a variety of people, particularly those who were marginalized or considered outcasts by society. According to the Gospels, Jesus often associated with and blessed the poor, the sick, the sinners, and others who were looked down upon. For example, in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus blesses the poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, and those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake (Matthew 5:3-10). Additionally, Jesus blessed children, as seen in the accounts where he welcomed and blessed them despite the disapproval of his disciples (Mark 10:13-16). Jesus also blessed women, such as Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Mary Magdalene, and he blessed individuals who showed faith and trust in him, like the Canaanite woman (Matthew 15:21-28).
