Temperatures Have Plummeted To -40 Degrees Celsius In Northern China

Record cold weather is being witnessed by residents of Hulong Buir city in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in northern China. Temperatures have dropped to minus 40 degrees Celsius. Part of the Yellow River, the country's second longest river, has frozen. This necessitated a temporary suspension of river traffic.
