Demons Creatures from hell or pure superstition

The word demon comes from the Greek and means spirit. In various mythologies and religions, demons are understood to be spirits or forces of fate as warning and admonishing voices. In Christianity, demons are seen as henchmen of the devil and spirits that frighten, threaten, injure or even kill people. In many cases and religions, fallen angels are categorised as demons. In archaeology, demons are seen as animal-headed hybrid creatures with human legs. Places where demons are found are considered negative, gloomy and evil. Demons are considered to be moody and evil. It is believed that demons can inhabit human bodies. There are people who believe that they are inhabited by a demon. In Egyptian mythology it is believed that countless demons live on earth, in the air and in the water. Demons are believed in almost every religion.
