Congressman Rooney wants a declaration of a State of Emergency for Florida due to the water crisis. He sent a letter yesterday to the white house saying in part - "the devastation we are experiencing in southwest Florida is severely impacting our health, economy and ecology. Declaring a State of Emergency will make a host of funding and resources available that would otherwise not be possible."
