Trump Expected To Grant Clemency To Over 1,000 Jan. 6’ers As Congress Set To Certify Trump’s Win

President Donald Trump is expected to grant clemency to more than 1,000 January 6’ers as congress gets set to certify Trump’s victory in the 2024 election.

Four years after thousands of people took to the Capitol to support Trump and protest what they called a ‘rigged’ election – the events of Jan. 6th have become a campaign center point for the democrats and hundreds remain in jail.

Trump will be back in the White House in two weeks, at which point many expect him to fulfil his promises of swift clemency for the 1,000-plus people convicted and hundreds more with pending cases. Pardons early on will set the tone for Trump’s plan to eliminate political persecution.

This year’s Jan. 6 election certification has been designated a “national special security event” which will be overseen by the Secret Service.
