Fares: Fares are based on the distance traveled, ranging from NT$30 to NT$160. There is no fare difference between Express and Commuter services.

In-Town Check-in: Passengers can use in-town check-in services at Taipei Main Station up to 3 hours before their flight departure, provided their airline allows it.

Luggage: Luggage can be checked at Taipei Main Station and at New Taipei Industrial Park Station. Passengers must complete the in-town check-in services 3 hours before their flight departure on the same day.

Transfers: The Taoyuan Airport MRT connects with Taiwan Railways, High Speed Rail, and Taipei Metro, making it easy to transfer to other transportation options.

Travel Tips: When traveling from the airport to Taipei, it’s recommended to take the Express train for a faster journey. Ensure you have enough time to transfer to other MRT lines at Taipei Main Station if your final destination is within the city.

Taking the train from the airport to the city is easy, fast and inexpensive. Everything is well marked and in English as well as Chinese. Connecting to the other lines at the Taipei Main Station is also very easy to do.
