Tragic IED Blast in Chhattisgarh Claims 9 Lives, Including 8 DRG Jawans

An IED blast in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, killed nine individuals, including eight Dantewada District Reserve Guard (DRG) jawans and their driver. The attack occurred on January 6, 2025, while they were returning from a joint operation in the Dantewada, Narayanpur, and Bijapur regions. The explosion took place on the Bedre-Kutru Road, marking one of the deadliest assaults on security forces in recent years. Reinforcements have been dispatched to the area for further operations.
