Painting Castle Crag - Part 2

This is the second part of this video that was filmed while working on a commissioned painting of a rock formation of Castle Crag, a very popular spot with rock climbers. This rock formation forms part of Arapiles Mountain in Victoria. This video shows the second stage of this painting, painting the first coloured layer known as the dead layer.

The painting was done using an imprimatura and grisaille underpainting, shown in the first volume of this video.
