I entered the Fidonet Network in 1991 on an old 286/12 IBM Clone PC with an internal 2400 Baud Modem. I ran Doc's Place BBS until the last summer. Doc's Place BBS was one of the first BBSes to allow access to the Internet. This is a recording I just produced for the BBS Documentary series, #4 of 8. Take a time travel trip back to the early 1980s to see how we networked our everyday computers to the Fidonet Network. To watch the others go to https://flc52.org and click the Fidonet Tab.
