The Age of Adaline is a 2015 American romantic drama film directed by Lee Toland Krieger. The movie tells the story of Adaline Bowman, a woman who stops aging after a car accident in 1935.
The story follows Adaline (Blake Lively) as she lives for eight decades, unable to age or form lasting connections with people, due to her unique condition. As she keeps her secret hidden, Adaline forms a connection with Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman), a philanthropist who is smitten with her. However, their budding romance is threatened when Adaline's past catches up with her, and she must confront the consequences of her extraordinary life.
