Grease Gun Resurrection Part 1

There aren't too many machine guns that are on my want list, but the M3 "Grease Gun" has been on it for many years. To me it's a shining example of American ingenuity, and an elegant (if somewhat ugly) solution to the problem of the expensive and slow-to-produce Thompson submachine gun. Manufacturing resources were at a premium during World War 2, and anything that could be done to expedite getting weapons into the fight was a big deal. The stamped and welded sheet steel receiver and low parts count made this gun a winner in the battle for efficiency.
