True, they apparently didn’t know that there would be no fireworks; their state was now waging a war against the entire West.

It is precisely these kinds of shots that show how much of the population is completely detached from reality. And they are, in principle, not to blame for not understanding all the processes that are taking place, as well as the importance of this war. If the state positions everything as a military operation, then why should they somehow worry about it? The question is rhetorical.
