The Biden administration has informed Congress about an $8 billion arms deal with Israel, aimed at bolstering long-term security. Despite pressure from Democrats, President Biden did not condition the arms sales on Israel’s actions in Gaza. The deal is expected to be the Biden administration’s final weapons sale to Israel amid regional tensions and threats from drone and airborne attacks.
