Donna does an air swim and paddles his paws in the air for his first time swimming! Too cute!

Pets are love and pets are life. Whether you like them or not, you can’t deny the fact that they put some rainbow sprinkles on your day, figuratively speaking. All pets are wonderful, but if there is one species that is able to turn up the party, then it’s definitely our canine friends.

Dogs are absolutely amazing. They remind us of smaller and hairier versions of humans that love nothing more than to have fun. It seems like we can never get enough of the puppy awesomeness. They keep us at our toes with their antics and melt us into puddles of mush when they turn on their charm. They are like our furry offspring that likes to wake us up early in the morning to go potty but we don’t mind because they are adorable.

For those few who did not know, let us tell you a little secret about dog videos. The Internet was first conquered by cats: a lazy cat, an angry cat, a cross-eyed cat, a brave cat (Remember the hero cat who saved the little boy from a dog attack? Of course, we all do!) these were on the all-star list of Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Photos, videos, memes, gifs, whatever you could possibly imagine to share online was instantly gaining immense popularity! Entire audiences of admirers and subscribers started to gather and expanded. And how did our dogs leg behind in this pet-craze? They actually did not! Dogs confidently began to catch up with the mustachioed mousers. And not only catch up, they even started overshadowing their popularity. And why you might ask. It is because of amazing dog videos like this one on the top of the page. Watch! Go, go dogs!

And who has such a heart that could resist watching and rewatching this cute pup swimming in the air. The instinct is there - even before he is been immersed into the water he starts paddling. No one has ever shown this pooch how to do it, but somehow and from who knows where it goes straight for air paddling. We are absolutely convinced that the puppy thinks he has done half the work needed and has no idea how different moving in water would be. So cute and innocent!

We hope we got you in the mood for puppy and swimming videos. In the end, it is hot, it is summer, and if we are really honest, watching these dogs chill in water makes us believe we are in their place at least for the short while tour brains can entertain such poetic fallacy.

Take a look for example of this puppy, eager to teach its sister how to swim – even if she found it tough going. Footage shows how rescue dog Freeda treads water with her owner at a beach near Saint Petersburg, Florida. Her brother Tucker, a Boston Terrier Beagle, sees that Freeda is struggling and wades out to show her how it's done. But Freeda just hasn't got the hang of it yet.

The dog's owner, Jennifer, writes: "Tucker obviously saw she needed some help so he swam out on his own to help teach her."
Unlike the pup who is obviously terrified of water and cannot even copy the brother, there are dogs that enjoy soaking. Look how this playful pooch enjoys a sunny day in owner's pool.

Teal might have had the bad fortune to be born with black fur in this scorching season, but that didn’t stop her from having some summer fun! It looks like she has found her favorite summer activity.

What can a black Lab do in the heat anyway? Good thing Teal decided that her black coat and the scorching Washington heat will not take away hew fun in the sun. So she made herself comfortable in the kiddie pool in her owner’s backyard. Quite a wise plan, don’t you think?

The weather looks nice and warm in Moses Lake, Washington, but all Teal cares about is smacking the water in the kiddie pool! She couldn’t be happier. Her owner says that she is a very good swimmer, but she is even better at splashing. We see her kicking the water with her front paws, creating big waves and just having a blast.

She stops the splashing for a second to cool off by swimming a few laps around the tiny pool, but then stops to rest and continues with the water slapping. It’s like watching a little kid in the water for the first time. What wouldn’t we give to be with her in that water right now!

If you love dogs as much as we do, share this video on social media or tell us a story of your beloved four-legged pal in the comment section below. And remember: dogs rule!
