1. **Prepare the Patties**
- Divide the ground beef into two equal portions. Gently shape into round patties, about ¾-inch thick.
- Press a slight indent in the center of each patty to prevent bulging as they cook.
2. **Cook the Patties**

- Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper, then place them in the pan.
