Adjusting to life with a disability may present challenges that are both internal and external. Katrina, the host knows this all too well. Despite her disability, she copes. She is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities by focusing on their capabilities rather than the limitations of their disabilities. Additionally, she advocates for a societal shift to prioritize 'ability' over 'disability'. The advocacy podcast 'Living with Disabilities' provides a platform for people with disabilities to share their experiences.

Hello from my channel. My name is Katrina, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in the Midwest. I am currently considering returning to school to pursue a degree in psychology. This would enable me to work as a guidance and mental health counselor for young children with physical and mental challenges.
My adventure into writing poetry began when I joined a poetry contest as a teenager.
Established in 2015, Living with Disabilities provides a platform for individuals with disabilities to share their stories, highlighting the unique talents that accompany their narratives.
In addition to writing and hosting 'Living with Disabilities', I am a mother to my cat. I also aspire to visit other states and eventually travel to Italy and Ireland.
