Egg roll recipe step by step
1. Vegetable Egg Rolls
Ingredients:
2 cups cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrots, julienned
½ cup green onions, chopped
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
Egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying
Steps:
1. Heat a pan with sesame oil, sauté garlic and ginger until aromatic.
2. Add cabbage, carrots, and green onions. Cook until softened.
3. Add soy sauce and stir. Remove from heat and cool.
4. Place a wrapper on a flat surface, diamond shape facing you. Add 2 tbsp filling in the center.
5. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold the sides inward, and roll tightly. Seal with water or beaten egg.
6. Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry rolls until golden brown.
7. Drain on paper towels and serve with dipping sauce.

2. Chicken Egg Rolls
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
1 cup cabbage, shredded
½ cup carrots, julienned
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp hoisin sauce
Egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying
Steps:
1. Sauté garlic in a pan. Add chicken, cabbage, and carrots.
2. Stir in soy sauce and hoisin sauce. Cook until the mixture is dry. Cool.
3. Assemble egg rolls using the same wrapping method as above.
4. Fry in hot oil until crispy and golden.
5. Serve hot with sweet chili or plum sauce.

3. Shrimp Egg Rolls
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
1 cup bean sprouts
½ cup carrots, julienned
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
Egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying
Steps:
1. Heat a pan, sauté garlic and ginger. Add shrimp, bean sprouts, and carrots.
2. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir well and cook until the mixture is dry. Cool.
3. Wrap the filling in egg roll wrappers as explained above.
4. Deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
5. Serve with a spicy mayo or soy dipping sauce.
