Explosive device placed on train, Idaho police say

A man has been arrested in Payette, Idaho after police say he placed an improvised explosive device (IED) on a train car. On New Years Day, police said around 6PM, Payette police were called to the 600 block of North 8th Street for a suspicious man seen near a parked railroad car, attempting to light something on fire. When officers arrived, they said they found fresh footprints in the snow and tracked them to a train car where they found an undetonated improvised explosive device (IED).
